This map is not accurate. The gray counties between Houston and Victoria are split between those dioceses (purple and orange), with one in Beaumont.
ReplyDeleteGonzalez and Karnes counties (NW of Victoria/DeWitt) are NOT in the Victoria diocese, but rather are in the San Antonio diocese. Corpus Christi (yellow) is accurate, but McMullen county is split with Laredo diocese.
Beaumont is correct, but Chambers (marked gray) is also part of Beaumont.
I have not checked the other 11 dioceses, but seems likely there are a number more errors.
IE: don't use this map!
